Whether it is team training or one on one athlete conditioning, developing the physical attributes that provide the foundation necessary for skill execution is essential to athletic performance. Power Movement Dryland Training accomplishes this through the development of the complete athlete, including physical training for all the bodies functional muscle groups (visible or not), in addition to the mental development and emotional training to optimize performance contusive conducive to a dynamic sport environment.

These training sessions are based on an initial movement-and-needs analysis of the players athletes  and their particular sport requirements. This analysis will highlight what strengths and weaknesses occur in the movements of their sport. Power Movement Dryland Training sessions are then designed to improve these weaknesses in order to optimize/maximize performance.

Each session will include proper development of strength, power, speed, agility, balance, flexibility and mental toughness.

The functional training done during each session ensures that the off- ice/field/court training will enhance athletes sport performance, making effective use of your time and money.

Improper training methods such as heavy weight training and constant linear movement (running, stationary biking, etc) may help develop injuries such as over-developed muscles and hinder multi-directional agility. This type of training may develop strength, size and endurance, however it does not properly represent the dynamic nature of sport,  and therefore is ineffective in improving athletic performance. Power Movement Dryland Training serves to address these flaws.

The equipment used during Power Movement Dryland Training sessions will vary? from Swiss Balls, Balance Boards, Plyo Boxes, Agility Ladders, Hurdles, Cones, Reaction Balls, Medicine Balls, Free Weights, Bosu balance trainers, Resistance Harnesses and Bungee Cords.
